The Cloverdale Playhouse is Montgomery, Alabama's community theater and a home for the performing arts, offering a full season of productions, special events, and theater arts classes for all ages through the Playhouse Academy. We are located in the heart of historic Old Cloverdale in a former church, renovated in 2011. We opened our first season with the sold-out production, The Gin Game, in early 2012. We produce five regular season plays each year and many special events, including our singer-songwriters series called the Joe Thomas, Jr. Guitar Pull; Rhythm & Rhyme, which is our poetry and jazz series; the Playhouse improv troupe, "Yes! And...?"; and our Playhouse Cabaret series.

2024 will be our 13th Season.
